Resistance fighters strike back: Three Israeli troops killed in Gaza firestorm

Three Israeli occupation soldiers were killed on Monday after a Palestinian Resistance anti-tank missile struck an Israeli military unit operating deep inside the Gaza Strip, in what Israeli media described as yet another “disaster” for the occupying forces amid growing battlefield losses.
The fatal strike reportedly occurred during intense confrontations in the eastern parts of Gaza City, particularly in the al-Tuffah neighborhood and Jabalia al-Balad, where Palestinian Resistance fighters have been mounting fierce operations against invading Israeli forces.
In response to the growing toll, Israeli warplanes were forced to conduct a risky aerial evacuation to airlift wounded soldiers from the battlefield, transferring them to the Tal HaShomer military hospital in central occupied Palestine.
Resistance Operations Intensify
The al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Palestinian Resistance Movement Hamas, confirmed that their fighters had launched several operations over recent days, including a bold daytime ambush east of Khan Younis, where they engaged an Israeli military convoy consisting of a Merkava tank and a troop carrier.
Using Yassin-105 rocket-propelled grenades, al-Qassam fighters targeted the vehicles and their occupants with precision. While battlefield conditions prevented them from capturing a soldier alive, the Resistance confirmed the fighter neutralized the target and seized his weapon. “Abraham Azulai’s luck ran out,” al-Qassam said in a statement, adding ominously, “Soon, the next soldier’s fate will be different — as a new prisoner.”
Resistance Exposes Israeli Vulnerabilities
Accompanying the statement, al-Qassam released combat footage as part of its ongoing David’s Stones operation series. The video shows Resistance fighters ambushing an Israeli military unit, with one soldier attempting to flee under fire and others left exposed and unsupported by their command.
In a striking scene, the fighters attempted to capture the fleeing soldier but ultimately took him down and retrieved his weapon. The footage underlined the lack of covering fire or backup from nearby Israeli troops, revealing the vulnerability and disarray within the Israeli occupation army.
Occupation Struggles Amid Heavy Losses
Monday’s losses add to the growing list of casualties suffered by the occupation army in Gaza, where the terrain, tunnels, and relentless Resistance operations have shattered the myth of Israeli invincibility. The latest confrontations in al-Tuffah and Jabalia have forced the occupation to resort to smoke grenades and artillery fire to cover its retreat and evacuate wounded personnel.
While Israeli military censors attempt to downplay battlefield losses, reports from within Israeli media increasingly reflect growing frustration and concern over the war’s direction and the inability to subdue Palestinian Resistance fighters, who continue to operate with strategic agility and resolve.
As the Israeli onslaught on Gaza continues into its tenth month, the Resistance has shown no sign of weakening, and the occupying forces find themselves increasingly bogged down in a war of attrition against a determined and rooted enemy — one fighting for its land, dignity, and freedom. (ILKHA)
