The Turkish Coast Guard rescued 28 irregular migrants, including 16 children, from the Aegean Sea after reports indicated they were pushed back by Greek forces.
Coast Guard teams responded to distress calls from rubber boats carrying migrants off the coasts of Aydın, İzmir, and Muğla. In total, 93 migrants, including 17 children, were found in these vessels.
The rescued migrants were transferred to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management after processing. (ILKHA)
