Iran and Bahrain agree to hold talks on resuming political ties

The Islamic Republic of Iran and the Kingdom of Bahrain have announced their readiness to commence negotiations aimed at resuming political relations.
This decision was announced in a joint statement following a meeting between Iran's Acting Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani and Bahrain's Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani.
The joint statement highlighted the readiness of both nations to explore ways to restart diplomatic ties and the creation of necessary mechanisms to facilitate these negotiations.
Foreign Minister Al Zayani is currently in Tehran to participate in the Asian Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) meeting. The summit, hosted by Iran's Foreign Ministry, includes delegations from over 30 countries, featuring foreign ministers and deputy foreign ministers from ACD member states. (ILKHA)
