UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed to visit Türkiye for strategic talks

At the invitation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, will pay an official visit to Türkiye on July 16, according to a statement by the Presidency’s Head of Communications, Burhanettin Duran.
The visit marks a significant milestone in the rapidly strengthening relations between the two countries and will include the first meeting of the Türkiye–UAE High-Level Strategic Council, which was formally established in 2023 to institutionalize and deepen bilateral cooperation.
During Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed’s visit, comprehensive talks will take place at the Presidential Complex in Ankara, where President Erdoğan and the Emirati delegation will engage in discussions aimed at enhancing the strategic partnership across various sectors, including trade, investment, defense, energy, and technology.
The leaders are also expected to exchange views on a range of regional and global issues, with a focus on geopolitical stability, economic cooperation, and joint responses to humanitarian and security challenges in the region.
The High-Level Strategic Council aims to serve as a platform for structured and long-term dialogue, reflecting the political will of both Ankara and Abu Dhabi to turn a new page in bilateral ties after years of tension.
The visit is being closely watched by analysts as a further indicator of the growing diplomatic realignment in the Middle East, where regional powers are increasingly pursuing pragmatic partnerships and multilateral cooperation to address shared challenges. (ILKHA)
