Unidentified armed men kill 10 family members in Khost, Afghanistan

Local authorities have confirmed that unidentified armed men raided a home in Afghanistan's eastern Khost province, killing 10 family members, including women and children.
The incident occurred in the Ali Sher district on Tuesday at around 9:00 p.m. local time, according to Mustaghfir Garbiz, the spokesperson for the Islamic Emirate governor in Khost, in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
The motive behind the killings and the identities of the victims remain unclear. However, Afghan authorities have arrested two suspects in connection with the case.
