The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) has described the health and living conditions in the Gaza Strip as "inhumane" amidst ongoing Israeli aggression.
In a statement published on its official website, the agency highlighted that Palestinian families are being forced to live near mountains of accumulated waste and leaking sewage water, putting them at risk of diseases.
UNRWA reiterated the urgent need for an immediate ceasefire to alleviate the dire humanitarian crisis in the region.
Since the beginning of the Israeli offensive in October, over 41,615 Palestinians have been killed, and more than 96,359 others have been injured, according to the latest figures released by Gaza's Ministry of Health. (ILKHA)
