Yemen strikes Tel Aviv with hypersonic missile in response to Israeli aggression

Yemen’s Ansar Allah movement has successfully carried out a missile strike on a critical target in Tel Aviv, using a Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile, the movement’s military spokesperson Yahya Saree announced.
Speaking to the Al Masirah television channel, Saree stated that the operation targeted a strategic facility in the Jaffa neighborhood of occupied Tel Aviv, marking a firm response to Israel’s recent aggression on Yemeni territory, including airstrikes on the port of Hodeida.
“The Yemeni armed forces’ missile troops conducted a military operation with the use of a Palestine-2 hypersonic missile, which attacked a critical facility of the Israeli enemy,” Saree confirmed, emphasizing that the strike was a legitimate act of defense in response to repeated Israeli attacks.
In addition to the missile strike, Ansar Allah staged a drone attack on Ramon Airport near Eilat in southern Israel, Saree reported, demonstrating the movement’s ability to defend Yemeni and regional interests against Israeli aggression.
The Israel Occupation Forces (IOF) claimed to have intercepted a missile launched from Yemen, reporting no casualties or damage. However, experts note that such statements often downplay the strategic and psychological impact of Yemeni operations.
Ansar Allah has repeatedly warned Israel that any continued attacks on Gaza or Yemeni territory would provoke decisive retaliation. Since the escalation of the conflict in Gaza in 2023, the movement has explicitly threatened to target Israeli territory and to prevent ships associated with the Israeli regime from passing through the Red Sea and the Bab el-Mandeb Strait until Tel Aviv ceases its military operations against Gaza.
Following a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, Yemen temporarily suspended strikes on Israeli targets. However, after the breakdown of the ceasefire, Ansar Allah resumed operations, attacking both Israeli-linked ships and key targets within Israel’s territory, reaffirming its commitment to resisting Israeli aggression.
Saree’s announcement underscores Ansar Allah’s growing military capabilities and its role as a defender of Yemeni sovereignty and Palestinian rights, sending a clear message that the movement will continue to act decisively in defense of Gaza and against Israeli crimes in the region. (ILKHA)
