Yemeni Armed Forces intensify drone strikes on Israeli targets in support of Gaza

The Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) have announced a new wave of drone operations targeting vital sites deep within the Israeli-occupied territories, underscoring Yemen’s unwavering commitment to the Palestinian cause and its defiance of Israeli aggression against Gaza.
In a statement delivered Tuesday, YAF spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree confirmed the launch of six drones against strategic enemy targets in Haifa, the al-Naqab desert, Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat), and Beer al-Sabe. Saree reaffirmed that these operations form part of Yemen’s broader campaign to support Gaza, pledging that strikes will continue until Israel halts its war crimes and ends its suffocating blockade of the enclave.
“The Zionist enemy’s ongoing attempts to eradicate the Palestinian cause through genocide, starvation, and forced displacement will have grave repercussions for all Arab and Islamic nations,” Saree warned. He emphasized that Gaza stands as “the first line of defense for the entire Muslim community,” and that the dismantling of the Palestinian cause would open the door for the occupier to violate other nations with impunity.
Precision Strikes on Ben Gurion, Bir al-Sabe, and Askalan
Just days earlier, on Friday, the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out three qualitative military operations using three drones, striking Lod Airport in the Yafa region and two vital sites in Bir al-Sabe and Askalan. Saree declared that all objectives were successfully achieved, describing the operations as “a victory for the oppressed Palestinian people” and “a direct response to the crimes of genocide and starvation.”
The YAF also renewed its warning to all shipping companies dealing with Israeli-controlled ports, stressing that all such vessels are now legitimate targets regardless of their declared destination. “Companies must immediately stop dealings with occupied Palestinian ports to ensure the safety of their ships and crews,” the statement said.
Al-Houthi: Yemen’s Naval Siege on Israel Is ‘Effective and Ongoing’
Yemen’s naval blockade, which targets Israeli-linked maritime activity, remains fully operational, Ansar Allah leader Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi affirmed in a televised address last Thursday. He described the blockade as “ongoing, effective, impactful, and successful,” noting that the port of Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat) is completely shut down.
Al-Houthi revealed that Yemeni forces had conducted 14 combined missile and drone strikes in recent days, hitting enemy positions in al-Lydd, Yafa, Haifa, and Askalan, in addition to maritime operations in the far northern Red Sea.
Turning to the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, al-Houthi condemned what he called a “systematic starvation campaign” engineered by Israel with the complicity of certain Arab and Western governments. “The suffering of the Palestinian people has worsened for the fifth consecutive month since aid was blocked,” he said, warning that “every hour, more martyrs fall to starvation — foremost among them infants and children.”
He accused the United States of direct participation in the Gaza war, asserting that American personnel are on the ground carrying weapons and aiding Israeli forces. “Even US officers have admitted their involvement,” al-Houthi added.
Yemen’s Message to the Region: Gaza Will Not Fall Alone
The Yemeni leadership has made it clear that its military operations will not cease as long as Gaza remains under siege. By striking deep into Israeli-occupied territories and tightening its naval blockade, Yemen aims to break the stranglehold on the Palestinian people and deter the occupation from further crimes.
“Gaza is not alone,” al-Houthi declared. “The resistance front will not allow the Palestinian cause to be erased, and Yemen will stand firmly on the side of its brothers until victory is achieved.” (ILKHA)
