Yemeni Armed Forces strike Ben Gurion Airport in retaliation for Gaza genocide

Yemeni Armed Forces launched a ballistic missile strike on Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv — a direct hit that disrupted operations and sent shockwaves through the Israeli occupation entity.
Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the official spokesman of the Yemeni Armed Forces, confirmed the successful strike in a televised statement, declaring it a “just and necessary response” to the genocide unfolding in Gaza and the Zionist regime’s continued starvation blockade on over two million Palestinians.
“This operation is a message from Yemen’s free people — we will not remain silent while our Palestinian brothers and sisters are slaughtered, starved, and displaced,” Saree said. “As Arab and Islamic regimes stand paralyzed, we take up the moral and religious responsibility to act.”
The strike on Ben Gurion Airport — also known as Lod Airport — halted operations for nearly an hour, sent settlers scrambling into bomb shelters, and served as a chilling reminder to the occupying regime that its crimes will not go unanswered. The Yemeni Armed Forces emphasized that this was not an isolated act but the beginning of an intensifying campaign.
In their statement, the Yemeni military vowed to reinforce and broaden their resistance operations to impose a full air embargo on Israeli airspace and to continue restricting Israeli-linked shipping through the Red Sea and Arabian Sea. “Our military actions will escalate until the siege on Gaza is broken and the aggression is halted,” Saree asserted.
Amid global outrage over the silence and complicity of Western powers — particularly the United States and its European allies — Yemen’s bold action has been hailed by resistance movements and millions across the Arab and Islamic world as a much-needed blow to Zionist arrogance and Western hypocrisy.
“The children of Yemen stand shoulder to shoulder with the children of Gaza,” Saree concluded. “This is not just a battle for Palestine — it is a battle for dignity, justice, and the soul of the Ummah.” (ILKHA)
