Yemeni Armed Forces strike Israeli targets with drones in support of Gaza

The Yemeni armed forces announced Friday evening that they had carried out three coordinated drone operations targeting Israeli sites in occupied Palestine.
According to a statement issued by the Yemeni military, the first strike targeted Lod Airport in the Jaffa area, while the other two drones hit what were described as “vital targets” in Beersheba and Ashkelon. The statement noted that all operations achieved their intended objectives.
The Yemeni forces said the attacks were launched in solidarity with the Palestinian people and as a direct response to “the crimes of genocide and starvation” committed by the Israeli occupation in the Gaza Strip.
In their statement, the Yemeni armed forces reiterated a warning to all companies operating through the ports of occupied Palestine, stressing that their ships could be targeted if they continued business there. They urged these companies to halt operations “to preserve the safety of their vessels and crews.”
The announcement marks the latest in a series of regional escalations linked to the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza, as pro-Palestinian armed groups in Yemen, Lebanon, Iraq, and Syria continue to launch attacks in retaliation for Israel’s actions. (ILKHA)
