Yemeni security forces seize smuggled Starlink devices in crackdown on espionage

Yemen’s Security and Intelligence Service has successfully seized several Starlink satellite internet devices and equipment in recent operations.
According to a high-ranking security source, the confiscated devices were illegally smuggled into Yemen’s free provinces, intended for espionage and intelligence activities by hostile foreign entities, including American and Israeli forces.
The source, speaking to the Yemen News Agency (SABA), condemned the Aden-based “hypocritical traitor government” for licensing the Starlink devices, describing the act as a “flagrant violation” of Yemen’s sovereignty. The devices were reportedly made available through points of sale in the occupied provinces and smuggled into free territories to support foreign intelligence operations targeting Yemen’s security and stability.
This seizure comes at a critical time, as Yemen stands resolute in its “Promised Conquest and Holy Jihad” against the Israeli enemy, reinforcing its commitment to defending the nation against external aggression. The security source emphasized the grave threat posed by these prohibited devices, which are being exploited by adversaries for espionage purposes.
The Security and Intelligence Service has issued a stern warning to individuals in possession of Starlink devices, declaring their use a crime of collaboration with hostile forces, punishable under Yemeni law. Citizens are urged to immediately surrender any such equipment to the authorities to avoid legal consequences.
In a call to action, the source encouraged Yemenis to remain vigilant and report any information regarding these devices by contacting the Security and Intelligence Service’s toll-free number, 100. This operation underscores Yemen’s unwavering resolve to protect its sovereignty and counter foreign interference in its ongoing struggle for liberation. (ILKHA)
