According to a report by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat), Iran and Turkey exchanged goods worth $2.3 billion in the first five months of 2024, reflecting a 5% increase from the $2.1 billion reported in the same period last year.
From January to May, Türkiye's exports to Iran amounted to approximately $1.340 billion, a 16% rise compared to the $1.151 billion recorded during the same period last year.
Conversely, Iran's exports to Türkiye totaled $1.038 billion in the first five months of 2024, representing a 7% decrease from the $960 million reported in the corresponding period last year. (ILKHA)
