The Turkish Statistical Institute's latest report on motor vehicle registrations reveals a dynamic picture for the Turkish automotive market in February 2024.

While overall registrations dipped slightly compared to January, a significant year-over-year increase indicates continued growth in the sector.

The report highlights a total of 193,600 new motor vehicle registrations in February. This represents a 9.3% decrease compared to January 2024, suggesting a potential seasonal slowdown. However, a robust 77.6% increase year-over-year paints a more optimistic picture, showcasing sustained growth in the market.

When it comes to new car registrations in February, Renault, Fiat, and Chery emerged as the top three preferred brands among Turkish consumers. This data provides valuable insights into current market trends and consumer choices.
