Türkiye sees robust 5.7% monthly turnover rise in May

The Turkish Statistical Institute announced on Friday that Türkiye's total turnover index, encompassing the industry, construction, trade, and services sectors, recorded a significant annual increase of 41.5% in May 2025.
Breaking down the figures, the industry sector saw a robust growth of 29.2%, while the construction sector led with an impressive 58.0% surge.
The trade sector rose by 45.4%, and the services sector grew by 45.2% compared to May 2024.On a monthly basis, the total turnover index climbed by 5.7% in May 2025 compared to April 2025.
Sector-specific monthly gains included a 5.8% increase in industry, a notable 15.1% rise in construction, a 4.9% uptick in trade, and a 4.0% growth in services.
These figures highlight a strong economic performance across multiple sectors, with construction showing particularly dynamic growth both annually and monthly. (ILKHA)
