The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has announced plans to enhance healthcare services across the country by establishing specialized hospitals dedicated to maternal and child health, cancer treatment, and infectious diseases in every province.
The initiative was unveiled by Mawlavi Noor Jalal Jalali, the acting Minister of Public Health, during a recent meeting where he introduced the new national health policy.
Minister Jalali underscored the government’s commitment to strengthening the healthcare infrastructure, stressing the importance of carrying out these efforts with integrity and in alignment with Islamic and Afghan values.
“We must carry out our responsibilities honestly and in accordance with Islamic and Afghan values,” he stated, emphasizing the need for ethical and dedicated service in the healthcare sector.
The new policy aims to improve medical accessibility and address critical health challenges in Afghanistan, ensuring better treatment facilities for patients across the country. (ILKHA)
