Hope Caravan dispatches humanitarian aid trucks to Gaza

The Hope Caravan Foundation (Umut Kervanı Vakfı), known for its relentless aid efforts for Gaza, has commenced the dispatch of humanitarian aid trucks from Egypt towards the Gaza Strip.
This initiative comes in response to the ongoing crisis exacerbated by the Israeli genocidal aggression following the Aqsa Flood on October 7, 2023. After the ceasefire that took effect on January 19, Hope Caravan has further increased its aid deliveries to the area.
A team from Hope Caravan, stationed in Egypt to coordinate the shipments, packed essential supplies including food, mattresses, quilts, shoes, and winter clothing in a warehouse near Cairo. The trucks, loaded with these provisions, were then dispatched to Gaza through the Rafah Border Gate.
Speaking to ILKHA about the ongoing relief efforts, Cafer Ökmen, Vice President of Hope Caravan, stated: “We are currently in the shipment warehouse in Cairo. Previously, we made our shipments through Jordan, but now we are sending them from Cairo, Egypt, if God wills. Our trucks carry shoes, winter clothing ranging from pajamas to scarves and beanies, as well as flour and food parcels. Inshallah, we will set off for Gaza in the form of a convoy.”
Hope Caravan remains committed to sustaining its humanitarian efforts in the region as the situation continues to evolve. (ILKHA)
