1 dead, 4 critically wounded in roadside bomb attack targeting prison officers in Turkey

A roadside bomb targeted a bus carrying prison officers in Turkey’s northwestern Bursa province, killing one person and injuring critically four others.
The attack took place on the Bursa-Mudanya highway in the Yeni Karaman neighborhood on Wednesday morning.
“An improvised explosive device (IED) planted at the bottom of the electricity pole during the passage of the prison vehicle was detonated with the remote control. One person was killed and four others were injured. Ministers of Interior and Justice are coming to Bursa. We think the incident was a terrorist attack,” Bursa governor, Yakup Canpolat, said. (ILKHA)
