Hope Caravan delivers sacrificial meat to needy families in Bursa

The Bursa branch of the Hope Caravan Association organized a meaningful Eid al-Adha initiative this week, distributing sacrificial meat donated by benefactors to hundreds of families in need across the city.
As part of the annual Qurbani (sacrifice) campaign, 14 cattle were slaughtered with strict attention to religious and hygienic standards. The meat was then carefully packed into parcels and prepared for distribution to pre-identified households experiencing economic hardship.
“With the slogan, ‘We slaughtered our sacrifices, now it’s time to share,’ we have successfully completed the first phase of our 2025 Eid sacrifice program,” said Ahmet Cihan, President of the Bursa Hope Caravan Association. “After completing the slaughter of large cattle today, we will continue with the small livestock. Once the meat is prepared, it will be delivered to families in need as quickly as possible.”
Cihan extended heartfelt thanks to all who donated to the effort, saying: “May Allah be pleased with all our benefactors.”
The organization plans to continue its sacrifice operations until the final day of the Eid al-Adha holiday. Cihan invited additional donors to participate, emphasizing that sacrifices of livestock will still be accepted and distributed.
“For those who still wish to donate, we are accepting small head sacrifices until the end of the feast. Each family will receive two kilograms of meat. Our goal is to reach hundreds of families this Eid,” he explained. “I congratulate the Eid al-Adha of the entire Islamic world, especially our brothers and sisters in Gaza.”
