Yapıcıoğlu calls for Ummah unity to confront Gaza genocide in Eid al-Adha message

Delivering a heartfelt Eid al-Adha message, HÜDA PAR Chairman Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu urged the Muslim Ummah to unite and take decisive action against the ongoing humanitarian tragedy in Gaza.
His message emphasized the urgent need for moral clarity, political responsibility, and Islamic solidarity in the face of both international injustice and domestic cultural challenges.
Opening his statement with prayers for Eid al-Adha to bring blessings and renewal to the Muslim Ummah, Yapıcıoğlu quickly turned to the dire conditions in Gaza, now entering its twentieth month of intense conflict. “Gaza has been crying blood for twenty months,” he said. “Innocent people are being brutally massacred before the eyes of the world. Those who survive face starvation, thirst, and a lack of medicine. Their homes have been destroyed, and many are burned alive in tents.”
He sharply criticized what he described as the silence of the international community and the passivity of the Islamic world. He identified "global Zionism" as the root cause of the violence, labeling it the greatest threat to global peace and shared human values. “They are not only killing the people of Gaza but attacking the conscience of all humanity,” he declared, calling for coordinated political, economic, and military resistance led by Islamic nations and all defenders of justice.
Yapıcıoğlu underscored that Eid al-Adha is not merely a time of ritual or festivity, but a moral and spiritual turning point. “We must mobilize our strength and resources to support our brothers and sisters in Gaza,” he said, urging Muslims everywhere to transform their Eid observances into active solidarity for the oppressed.
Turning to internal matters, Yapıcıoğlu voiced concern about the erosion of traditional values and the weakening of the family structure in Türkiye. He warned against what he described as “deviant ideologies and corrupt networks” working to undermine the nation’s religious and cultural fabric. “It is our collective responsibility to protect the faith and identity of future generations,” he stated.
Domestically, Yapıcıoğlu stressed the need for justice, unity, and shared values to overcome divisions and prevent violence. “To eliminate terrorism and unrest, we must stand firmly for what is right—this is not only a national duty but a religious obligation,” he said. He emphasized the importance of focusing on common ground rather than differences to strengthen national solidarity and lead the Islamic world by example.
Concluding his message, Yapıcıoğlu offered Eid greetings in Turkish, Kurdish, and Arabic—underscoring his call for unity across ethnic and linguistic lines. “May our Eid be blessed. Roşanê ma bimbarekîb. Cejna me pîroz be. Eid Mubarak,” he said, praying for the awakening of the Muslim Ummah, the relief of the oppressed, and guidance for all humanity. (ILKHA)
