The Turkish Ministry of Defense has announced the elimination of 16 members of the PKK in recent operations across northern Iraq and northern Syria.
According to the Ministry's statement, Turkish forces neutralized "10 PKK terrorists in the Gara and Hakurk regions of northern Iraq, and 6 PKK/YPG terrorists in the Euphrates Shield and Olive Branch regions in northern Syria."
These operations, aimed at bolstering security and targeting terrorist threats, highlight Turkey's ongoing efforts to maintain stability in these border areas.
The ministry reaffirmed its commitment to conducting operations to eliminate terrorist activity in the region, emphasizing the ongoing vigilance of Turkish forces in securing the country's borders against PKK and YPG threats. (ILKHA)
