A 4.2 magnitude earthquake struck the Simav district of Kütahya province in western Türkiye at 15:51 TSI, according to the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD).
The earthquake, with a depth of 12.55 km, had its epicenter located at coordinates 39.22333 degrees north latitude and 28.99889 degrees east longitude.
Despite the tremor, there have been no immediate reports of casualties or damage. Local authorities and emergency services are continuing to monitor the situation closely to assess any potential impact in the region. (ILKHA)
