The Turkish Ministry of Defense (MSB) announced that seven PKK/YPG members were killed in the Euphrates Shield region in northern Syria.
In a statement released on Monday, the ministry confirmed the successful operation targeting members of the terrorist organization.
"Operations will continue decisively in the region," the statement emphasized, reaffirming Türkiye’s commitment to maintaining security and stability in its border areas.
The Euphrates Shield operation, initially launched in 2016, aims to combat armed groups and secure the region from threats posed by PKK/YPG and other armed factions. (ILKHA)
