A rally in Istanbul, organized by Prophet’s Lovers Foundation and the Free Jerusalem Platform, brought together thousands to condemn the ongoing genocide committed by the Israeli occupation regime in Palestine and Lebanon.

Under the slogan “We Will Not Remain Silent Against Oppression! We Are Standing Until the Zionist Atrocity Stops,” the event emphasized solidarity with Gaza and called for concrete actions to counter Israeli occupation regime.

The gathering, which was held at Eminönü Square following afternoon prayers, began with a recitation from the Holy Quran by Resul Dalkılıç. Attendees expressed their unwavering support for the people of Gaza and voiced strong opposition to the actions of the Israeli state.

HÜDA PAR Mersin MP Faruk Dinç addressed the crowd, urging attendees to recognize the broader implications of the crisis. “The barrel pointed at Gaza today is actually pointed at Istanbul, Diyarbakır, and Ankara,” he said, underlining the interconnectedness of global struggles against oppression.

Dinç decried the loss of life in Gaza, emphasizing the plight of children and women. He called on scholars, civil society organizations, and policymakers to take unified and calculated steps to counter Zionism. “Our scholars must leave their madrasas and engage directly with the people. Fatwas on boycott and education on Jerusalem awareness should become priorities,” he stressed.

Referring to the hypocrisy of international leaders who mark World Children's Rights Day while remaining silent on the deaths of Palestinian children, Dinç declared: “Gaza has laid bare the barbarity of the West.” He urged the Muslim community to strategize and mobilize, saying, “Zionists cannot be fought without calculations, books, and plans.”

Journalist Zülküf Yel echoed these sentiments, framing the Gaza crisis as a test for humanity. “Human civilization is being killed before the eyes of the world,” he said, calling the ongoing conflict “the war of all Muslims and all humanity.”

Yel stressed the need for concrete action beyond words. “Just condemning is not enough. Zionists understand nothing but power,” he stated, urging nations to assert their sovereignty and establish humanitarian aid corridors to Gaza.

The event concluded with a prayer led by İsmail Pekgöz, reflecting the collective hope for peace and justice. Speakers reiterated the global responsibility to address the crisis, urging both Muslim and non-Muslim nations to take decisive steps against oppression.

Dinç’s closing remarks captured the sentiment of the rally: “Even if we are left alone, we will continue to expose the genocide of Zionism in every environment. The day will come when Palestine will be free, and Zionism will vanish not only from the occupied lands but from Washington, Berlin, and London as well.”
