Türkiye announced early Sunday it had conducted air strikes against PKK/YPG members across northern Syria and Iraq.
The photographs in which President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan issued the order to launch the "Air Operation Claw-Sword" on PKK/YPG bases in northern Iraq and Syria were released.
National Defence Minister Hulusi Akar is seen briefing President Erdoğan following his visit to Indonesia in the photographs.
It was reported that Erdoğan gave the instruction for the operation based on the information Akar provided.
