The Hope Caravan Foundation (Umut Kervanı Vakfı), with the support of a local philanthropist businessman, has distributed coats and boots to hundreds of children in need in the Siverek district of Şanlıurfa.
The aid initiative, organized by the Hope Caravan representative office, brought relief to families struggling to provide winter clothing due to financial difficulties. A special event was held at the Hope Caravanhall to distribute winter coats and boots to children aged 7 to 14.
Attendees included the philanthropist businessman, Siverek Hope Caravan representative Hikmet Temur, volunteers, and families of the children. The initiative aimed to ensure children stay warm and safe during the cold months.
Speaking at the event, Hikmet Temur emphasized the foundation’s commitment to ongoing support, stating: “This kind of aid is one of the best ways to make those in need smile. We will continue our support for our children to be healthy and safe during the winter months. Being able to be hope for our children is the greatest happiness for us.”
The philanthropist businessman, who played a crucial role in the programme, highlighted the importance of community solidarity, saying: “When we come together as a society, we can achieve great things. The happiness on the faces of our children encourages us to help more. We will not withhold our support in such events.”
