President Erdoğan to attend 17th ECO summit in Azerbaijan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is set to visit Khankendi, Azerbaijan, today to participate in the 17th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), according to a statement from Fahrettin Altun, Head of Communications for the Turkish Presidency.
The summit, held under the theme “A New Economic Cooperation Organization Vision for a Sustainable and Climate-Resilient Future,” will bring together leaders from member states to discuss pressing regional and global issues, including climate change, trade, transportation infrastructure, and organizational reform.
President Erdoğan is scheduled to address the summit and participate in bilateral meetings with several heads of state and government in attendance.
In addition to the leaders of ECO member countries, the summit will host observer states such as the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), as well as representatives from various international organizations, highlighting the growing significance of ECO as a platform for regional dialogue and cooperation.
