All preparations are complete for the Mawlid al Nabi celebration organized by the Prophet's Lovers Foundation at Yenikapi Rally Area today, May 5th, 2024.
The event, themed "Jihad Leader Hazrat Muhammad," is set to begin at 2:00 PM.
For the past week, anticipation has been building across Istanbul with banners, posters, and flyers inviting residents to the celebration. Organizers have been busy finalizing arrangements, including platform installation and kermes preparations, which continued until late last night.
The event area is adorned with photographs of figures including martyrs Salih Aruri, Yasin Börü, Aytaç Baran, and Hasan Saklanan, alongside Abu Ubeyde, a symbol of the Palestinian resistance. Security measures have also been a priority, with a heavy presence planned for the event.
Hundreds of volunteers from the Prophet's Lovers Foundation will be stationed throughout the venue to assist attendees. A significant press presence is also expected to cover the event. (ILKHA)
