Student organizations at Batman University staged a demonstration on campus to denounce the Israeli occupation regime's genocidal acts in Gaza.
After the march, students gathered at the Faculty of Islamic Sciences and issued a press release condemning the ongoing atrocities perpetrated by the Zionist regime against Palestinians, marking the 176th day of the conflict.
Abdussamet Gökçe, speaking on behalf of the student groups, condemned the relentless bombing of civilian infrastructure in Gaza by Zionists, resulting in the loss of countless innocent lives, including women, children, and the elderly.
Gökçe emphasized that the Zionist regime's aggression not only targets Palestinians but also poses a threat to the entire Muslim ummah and humanity at large.
He called on global leaders, particularly Muslim nations, to take decisive action to halt the brutality and hold the Zionist regime accountable for its crimes against humanity.
Furthermore, Gökçe urged for the closure of all ports and airports to Zionist vessels and aircraft, demanding an end to the transportation of goods that perpetuate the suffering of Gaza's population.
He emphasized the need for sustained financial support for Palestinians and advocated for boycotts against Zionist sponsors to continue.
Gökçe concluded by urging individuals worldwide to keep Gaza at the forefront of their concerns and to uphold their moral and Islamic duty to support the struggle for a free Palestine. (ILKHA)
