Syrian Islamic scholar Professor Mustafa Muslim, who had been undergoing treatment for COVID-19 in hospital in Turkey’s Gaziantep province, has passed away at age of 81.
Muslim, one of prominent Islamic scholar of Syria, had to flee conflict in his home country and was granted asylum in Turkey 8 years ago.
Muslim has served as the rector of Gaziantep International Ez-Zehra University since 2014. (ILKHA)
