Thousands of people across Turkey have protested against the zionist occupation regime’s recent attacks on Al Aqsa Mosque.
During the demonstrations, which were held by HÜDA PAR in many provinces, the protesters condemned the attacks on the Palestinians and Al-Aqsa Mosque and called on Islamic countries to take steps to stop the Zionist brutalities.
In Diyarbakır, the largest Kurdish-majority city in southeastern Turkey, thousands of people rallied at Sheikh Said Square in the Sur district.
Speaking at the event, Faruk Dinç, the Diyarbakır provincial chair of HÜDA PAR, said that the zionist occupation regime increases its brutal attacks on Palestine and Masjid al-Aqsa every Ramadan.
“Zionist regime attacked the worshippers and the Murabits with gas bombs, live ammunition, and rubber bullets, injuring hundreds of Palestinians and kidnaping hundreds of others. These savage and barbaric attacks are unacceptable. We condemn these attacks. We congratulate the martyrdom of our martyrs who were killed while shielding their bodies for the glory of Al Aqsa Mosque, and we pray for a speedy recovery of the injured,” Dinç said.
“Normalization with zionist regime will harm the Jerusalem cause”
Dinç underlined that these attacks and suffering will continue as long as the Zionist occupation exists, and added: “The way to end these attacks and occupation is not nonsenses like a two-state solution and normalizing relations with the occupation regime. History bears witness that this is not the case. Any kind of relationship with the zionist regime will leave the Jerusalem cause alone and weaken it, increase attacks on Aqsa, and result in the expansion of occupation and plunder. No Muslim should accept this.”
“The unique way to stop the atrocities of the zionist regime is to liberate Palestine from the occupation,” Dinç emphasized. “Ending the Zionist occupation can only be possible by being a voice for the honorable and dignified resistance of the Palestinian people, supporting them by mobilizing all means, and supporting them at all times and places.”
On Saturday morning, the zionist forces’ aggression extended inside al-Aqsa Mosque, as they stormed the mosque’s courtyards and attacked worshipers, injuring more than 150 Palestinians and kidnaping 400 others.
Shortly before the incident, a Jewish extremist religious group called Returning to the Mount announced that it intended to perform animal sacrifices in the courtyard of the Al Aqsa Mosque -which they called Temple Mount- during the Jewish holiday of Passover.
During the Muslim holy month of Ramadan the year before, nighttime demonstrations in Jerusalem and clashes at the Al-Aqsa compound had turned into an 11-day long war between the zionist occupation regime and Palestinian resistance groups. (ILKHA)
