The Turkish Coast Guard Command teams have rescued 13 irregular migrants, including three children, from a perilous situation in the Taşlıca Neighborhood of Marmaris.
The rescue was initiated after the Coast Guard received a distress call from the group, who were stranded in an area inaccessible by land. Responding promptly, the coast guard units navigated to the location to provide aid.
All migrants were safely brought to shore where they were then handed over to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management for further processing and care.
This operation highlights the continuous commitment of the Turkish Coast Guard to safeguard individuals facing life-threatening conditions along Türkiye's extensive coastline. (ILKHA)
