The Turkish Coast Guard Command successfully rescued 17 irregular migrants, including 7 children, from a fibre boat that experienced engine failure off the coast of Ayvacık district.
The boat had been drifting aimlessly when Coast Guard teams arrived on the scene.
The rescued migrants have been transported to the Foreigners Repatriation Centre in Ayvacık for necessary procedures.
