The Turkish Ministry of Defense reported on Saturday that 21 PKK/YPG members were neutralized in military operations conducted in northern Syria and Iraq.
As part of the ongoing Claw-Lock Operation in northern Iraq, Turkish forces neutralized 4 PKK members. Meanwhile, in the Peace Spring region of northern Syria, 17 PKK/YPG members were neutralized, demonstrating Türkiye's continued efforts to combat terrorist threats in the region.
In a statement, the Ministry emphasized the determination of the Turkish Armed Forces to secure the nation's borders and prevent terrorist activity:
"We did not and will not allow passage! Our heroic Turkish Armed Forces neutralized 17 PKK/YPG terrorists identified in the Peace Spring region in northern Syria and 4 PKK terrorists identified in the Gara and Claw-Lock Operation regions in northern Iraq. Our operations continue uninterruptedly under all types of weather and terrain conditions."
The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining security and executing operations without interruption, despite challenging weather and terrain conditions. (ILKHA)
