The Prophet’s Lovers Foundation in Diyarbakır has declared the recent ceasefire agreement in Gaza a resounding victory for the Palestinian resistance and a testament to the indomitable spirit of the people of Gaza.
During a rally organized by the foundation in solidarity with Gaza, fiery speeches and heartfelt statements highlighted the triumph of resilience, faith, and unwavering determination over the oppression and brutality of the Israeli occupation.
The event, held in front of the historic Grand Mosque in Diyarbakır, served as both a celebration of Gaza's perseverance and a call to action for Muslims and justice-seeking people worldwide. Speakers emphasized that the ceasefire was not a result of Israeli goodwill but a necessity born out of its failure to crush the resistance. They framed the agreement as a turning point in the struggle for Palestinian liberation and a clear message to the world that the spirit of Gaza cannot be defeated.
A Victory Born of Faith and Resistance
Ömer Çelik of the Martyrs Caravan Platform opened the rally with a speech that resonated with hope and conviction. He described the ceasefire as a momentous achievement, emphasizing that it was forced upon the Israeli occupation regime, which has repeatedly failed to achieve its military objectives in Gaza.
“This agreement is not a sign of the Israeli regime’s desire for peace; it is evidence of their growing fear and ultimate defeat. This is a victory for Gaza, for believers, and for the promise of Allah,” Çelik proclaimed. He urged attendees to see the ceasefire not merely as a pause in hostilities but as a divine endorsement of the just struggle waged by Palestinians.
Çelik invoked Quranic verses and Hadiths to illustrate the spiritual dimension of the ongoing conflict. He reminded the crowd that victory is not measured in material terms but by the steadfastness of faith and commitment to justice. “For 15 months, a small group of brave souls has faced down the might of global powers supporting the Israeli regime, including the United States, Britain, and France, and emerged victorious. This is the promise of Allah, and the people of Gaza are living proof of it,” he said.
He further drew parallels between Gaza’s resistance and the battles fought by early Muslims during the time of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), asserting that the victory in Gaza was a continuation of the historic struggle between faith and disbelief.
The Indomitable Spirit of Gaza
Fatih Taş, representing the Loved Ones of the Prophet, delivered a passionate statement on behalf of the organization. He lauded the people of Gaza for their extraordinary resilience in the face of overwhelming adversity. “Despite unimaginable sacrifices, the people of Gaza have upheld the honor and dignity of humanity,” he said.
Taş described the Israeli regime’s actions as a heinous campaign of destruction, supported by imperialist powers, aimed at breaking Gaza’s will. Yet, he noted, the campaign had failed spectacularly. “The Israeli occupation regime could neither dismantle HAMAS nor crush the resolve of Gaza’s people. Instead, it has been forced to seek a ceasefire in humiliation,” he said.
He went on to highlight the moral and symbolic significance of Gaza’s struggle, stating that the resistance in Gaza is not merely a defense of land but a fight for justice, dignity, and the conscience of humanity. “The people of Gaza have taught us all a lesson in valor and jihad. Their steadfastness is a beacon of hope for oppressed peoples everywhere,” Taş declared.
Faith as the Foundation of Resistance
Throughout the rally, speakers emphasized the central role of faith in sustaining the Palestinian resistance. Çelik articulated the spiritual underpinnings of the struggle, noting that true victory belongs to those who fight for divine justice, not those who measure success in worldly terms.
He likened the Palestinian resistance to the Battle of Badr, where a small group of believers triumphed against overwhelming odds. “Just as angels descended to support the believers in Badr, so too has Allah’s help been evident in Gaza. This victory belongs to those who remain steadfast in their faith and their commitment to the truth,” he said.
A Call for Solidarity and Action
The rally was not only a celebration of Gaza’s resilience but also a call to action. The Prophet’s Lovers Foundation and other speakers urged Muslims and justice-seekers worldwide to take tangible steps in support of the Palestinian cause.
Taş stressed the importance of rebuilding Gaza and holding the Israeli regime accountable for its crimes. “The ceasefire is a victory, but it is not the end. We must work tirelessly to heal the wounds of Gaza, to expose the crimes of the Israeli regime, and to rally the global conscience against these oppressors,” he said.
He called for mobilizing the Islamic Ummah to pressure governments into taking stronger stances against the Israeli occupation and supporting the Palestinian struggle for liberation. “The Aqsa Flood is not just a military operation; it is the freedom story of Islamic geography. We must ensure that this story continues to inspire and empower people everywhere,” he said.
Celebrating Gaza’s Martyrs and Heroes
The rally concluded with heartfelt tributes to the martyrs and heroes of Gaza. Taş read a message from Abu Obeida, the spokesman of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, which resonated deeply with the attendees. The message saluted the steadfastness of the people of Gaza and affirmed their commitment to the liberation of Palestine and Jerusalem.
“We send our salutations to the people of Gaza, who have sacrificed so much for the dignity of the Ummah. Their struggle is our struggle, and their victory is a victory for all believers,” Taş said.
The Path Forward
As the rally drew to a close, speakers reiterated the importance of continued vigilance and action. They warned that the Israeli regime could exploit the ceasefire to regroup and launch further attacks. “History teaches us that oppressors do not honor agreements. We must remain steadfast and prepared for the challenges ahead,” Taş said.
The rally ended with prayers for the martyrs of Gaza and a renewed commitment to the liberation of Palestine. “This struggle will not end until the Israeli regime is relegated to the dustbin of history. The resistance in Gaza is a testament to the power of faith, justice, and humanity. Let us honor their sacrifices by continuing to fight for a free Palestine and a just world,” Taş concluded.
The rally in Diyarbakır was a powerful reminder of the enduring solidarity with Gaza and the broader Palestinian cause. It highlighted the moral and spiritual dimensions of the struggle and reaffirmed the commitment of believers worldwide to stand with the oppressed until justice prevails. (ILKHA)
