The Turkish Foreign Ministry has issued a press release expressing deep concern over the reported attempted coup d'état against the elected government of Bolivia.
"We are deeply concerned by reports of an attempted coup d'état against the elected Government of Bolivia," stated the ministry.
The Turkish government voiced its hope that democratic order and stability will be swiftly restored in Bolivia. The statement emphasized Ankara's consistent stance against coups and military interventions.
"We take this opportunity to reiterate our opposition to all coups d'état and military interventions, and to strongly condemn all actions aimed at overthrowing legitimate governments," the ministry added.
