Turkish authorities have arrested 47 individuals suspected of being linked to the Islamic State (ISIS) group.
The arrests were made during a large-scale operation codenamed "Gürz-29," which was carried out in Ankara, Istanbul, Mardin, Samsun, and Sakarya provinces.
Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced the operation on social media, stating that the suspects were apprehended based on warrants issued by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices. During the raids, authorities seized unlicensed firearms, organizational documents, and digital materials.
