HÜDA PAR’s World Human Rights Day message: A call for justice and solidarity with the oppressed

On the occasion of December 10, World Human Rights Day, HÜDA PAR’s Human Rights and Legal Affairs Presidency issued a powerful message reaffirming its commitment to justice, freedom, and human values.
The party emphasized its role as a voice for the oppressed and called for global action against ongoing human rights abuses.
Human Rights as an Inviolable and Inalienable Right
HÜDA PAR highlighted the fundamental principle that human rights are inherent to every individual, stating: “Human rights are inviolable and inalienable rights that human beings are born with.” However, the message lamented that in practice, these ideals are often undermined and manipulated for political and economic gain.
"Today, the values of human dignity and justice are frequently violated and instrumentalized," the statement read. "The atrocities in Palestine expose the hypocrisy embedded in modern human rights discourse, which often serves a self-serving global order rather than the oppressed."
Condemnation of Atrocities in Palestine
The message drew particular attention to the ongoing suffering in Palestine, accusing the Zionist regime of systematic genocide and condemning the complicity of Western nations.
“Children bombed in Gaza, innocent families displaced, and the desecration of holy sites mark a black stain on the history of human rights,” the statement said. It criticized the West for either ignoring or directly supporting these atrocities, asserting that mechanisms meant to safeguard human rights are effectively paralyzed when addressing these injustices.
HÜDA PAR’s message urged the world to recognize the plight of Palestinians as emblematic of broader human rights failures. It argued that true human rights advocacy must transcend political interests and embrace universal justice.
Global Human Rights Violations Highlighted
While Palestine took center stage, the message also condemned other global human rights crises, including the persecution of Uyghur Muslims in East Turkestan, the genocide of the Rohingya in Myanmar, and the plight of oppressed communities worldwide.
"The doctrine of human rights is meaningless unless it aspires to an equal and just world for all people," HÜDA PAR stated.
Shocking Revelations from Syrian Prisons
The message also addressed recent reports of human rights violations in Syrian prisons, calling them some of the darkest chapters in human history. Citing allegations that 1.5 million people have been detained in these prisons over the past five years, with 200,000 missing, the party called for urgent international action.
A Call to Action
On World Human Rights Day, HÜDA PAR called on humanity to stand against oppression, stating: “Human rights discourses will remain hollow unless they address the genocide against the Palestinian people and other global injustices.” The party urged solidarity with oppressed peoples everywhere, warning that history will judge those who remain silent in the face of injustice.
HÜDA PAR concluded with a resolute pledge: “We will continue to stand by justice, freedom, and human values; we will be the voice of the oppressed against the oppressors.”
A Vision for Global Justice
HÜDA PAR’s message serves as both a condemnation of global human rights failures and a rallying cry for justice. By calling attention to injustices worldwide and advocating for an equal and just world, the party reinforces its commitment to defending human rights as a universal cause. (ILKHA)
