Turkish President Erdogan to visit UAE and Egypt

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is scheduled to embark on a diplomatic visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Egypt, as announced by Türkiye’s Communications Directorate.
According to the directorate's statement released on Sunday, Erdogan will participate in the World Government Summit in Dubai on February 13 as the guest of honour. He is expected to address the summit as the main speaker and hold bilateral meetings with leaders from participating countries, with a focus on discussions with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The World Government Summit serves as a platform bringing together state and government officials, international organizations, the private sector, academia, civil society, think tanks, media representatives, and business leaders.
Following his visit to the UAE, Erdogan will travel to Cairo, where discussions will revolve around steps to enhance relations between Türkiye and Egypt and revitalize high-level bilateral cooperation mechanisms.
The agenda for the meetings includes exchanging views on current global and regional issues, with particular emphasis on addressing the Israeli attacks on Gaza and other occupied Palestinian territories.
This regional tour carries wider implications beyond individual meetings. Erdogan's engagement with both the UAE and Egypt could contribute to fostering stability and cooperation within the broader Middle East, potentially setting a positive precedent for resolving regional conflicts.
The success of this trip could pave the way for further partnerships and dialogue, strengthening Turkey's influence in the region and promoting its vision for a peaceful and prosperous future. (ILKHA)
