The ministry specifically condemned the recent attacks against civilians in Al Jazirah state, deeming them a violation of international humanitarian law.
The ministry emphasized the urgent need for a ceasefire to be implemented immediately to restore peace and stability to the region. It further called for swift action to facilitate the return of displaced individuals to their homes and to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of humanitarian aid.
The statement reaffirmed Türkiye's unwavering support for Sudan's sovereignty, independence, territorial integrity, and unity. The ministry concluded by assuring that Türkiye will continue to provide humanitarian aid to alleviate the suffering of the Sudanese people. (ILKHA)
