Weather alert: Flooding and hail possible in western Türkiye

The Turkish Meteorology General Directorate has issued a weather alert for several provinces in western Türkiye, forecasting local showers and thunderstorms.
According to the latest updates, strong thundershowers, with rainfall amounts ranging from 21 to 50 kg/m², are anticipated after noon today in various regions, including the inland areas of Izmir, Manisa, Aydın, southern parts of Balıkesir, Kütahya, Uşak, Afyonkarahisar, Isparta, Burdur, and western parts of Antalya.
Residents are advised to exercise caution due to potential hazards associated with these weather conditions, including possible flooding, lightning, transportation disruptions, strong winds, and local hail. (ILKHA)
