According to a statement issued by the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Xi, in a congratulatory message sent to President Erdoğan, noted that China and Türkiye are both major developing countries and emerging markets, and the two countries share broad common interests.

President Luis Abinader of the Dominican Republic congratulated President Erdoğan and Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu on his Twitter account, underlining the aim to strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
