Trump accuses China's president of conspiring against U.S.

US President Donald Trump accused his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping of conspiring against the US alongside the leaders of Russia and North Korea.
Trump's remarks came after China hosted world leaders at its largest-ever Victory Day parade in Beijing on Wednesday, showcasing China's military might.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote: “Please convey my warmest regards to Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un as they conspire against the United States.”Trump had previously rejected claims that warming relations between China, Russia, and other countries posed a threat to the U.S. on the global stage.
Trump also mentioned the “great support and ‘blood’” the US provided to China during World War II. China's parade commemorates the 80th anniversary of Japan's surrender in the war and China's victory over the occupying force. “Many Americans lost their lives in China's quest for victory and honor. I hope they are honored and remembered as they deserve for their courage and sacrifice!”
Xi was accompanied by 26 heads of state at the parade, including Kim and Putin. Some observers see this as a message to Western countries that have excluded them.China has been trying to position itself as a potential counterweight to the US since Trump's tariffs shook the global economic and political order.
Trump presented the tariffs as necessary to protect American interests and industry. He appears willing to pay whatever diplomatic cost this entails. “As you know, I have a very good relationship with President Xi. But China needs us much more than we need them. I don't see that at all.”Trump said.
Furthermore, in a radio interview on Tuesday, Trump said he was not concerned about the axis forming between Russia and China.
On Scott Jennings' radio program, he said that America has “the world's most powerful military” and that “they would never use their military power against us.”In another part of the interview, Trump said he was “very disappointed” in Putin because they failed to reach a peace agreement for Ukraine during their meeting in Alaska last month.
“I was very disappointed in President Putin, I can say that,” Trump said, adding that the US would “do something to help people live” in Ukraine. However, he did not specify what that would be.China has not criticized Putin's full-scale invasion and has been accused by the West of helping Russia's war effort by supplying dual-use materials and buying Russian oil. Beijing denies this.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Russia was building up new troops in certain sections of the front line.“[Putin] refuses to be forced into peace,” Zelensky said in a video address late at night.(ILKHA)
