The humanitarian crisis in Gaza continues to worsen as Israeli military operations enter their 398th day, targeting densely populated areas across the region.

Over two million Palestinians, including approximately one million children, remain in a dire situation, with escalating casualties and widespread destruction, particularly in northern Gaza.

According to reports from the Palestinian Information Center, the Israeli army launched multiple airstrikes within the past 24 hours, primarily hitting civilian residences, shelters, and densely populated neighborhoods. As a result, dozens of Palestinians were reported killed or injured in strikes across Gaza, with concentrated attacks on the areas of Jabalia and Beit Lahia.

Northern Gaza has been a focal point for Israel’s intensified offensive over the past 34 days, with ongoing bombardments further compounded by a siege cutting off critical supplies and access to medical services. Local sources indicate that the blockade and targeted strikes on ambulance and civil defense teams have left residents without any rescue or emergency response support. In Jabalia’s Faluja cemetery area, residents have called for urgent assistance as their homes burn under ongoing attacks.

Reports detail numerous airstrikes in the last day: one drone dropped bombs at the entrance of Halima as-Saadiya School in northern Gaza, injuring several displaced civilians. An airstrike on a residence belonging to the al-Asi family in Beit Lahia claimed five lives and left multiple injured. Central and southern Gaza also suffered heavy strikes, resulting in eight civilian fatalities and several injuries. Additional casualties were reported following attacks on the as-Sani family home in the an-Nuseirat camp.

The continuous bombardment has led to rising fears among international observers and humanitarian organizations over the severe impact on civilian life and infrastructure in Gaza, with many calling for an immediate ceasefire and urging international intervention to prevent further loss of life and alleviate the humanitarian catastrophe unfolding in the region.
