Deadly floods and tornadoes kill at least 5 in Oklahoma, United States

At least five people, including two children and their mothers, died in Oklahoma over the weekend as flash floods and a tornado devastated the region.
In Moore, south of Oklahoma City, police reported a “historical” flood event, with dozens of high-water rescues. A mother and her 12-year-old son perished when their vehicle was swept into a creek. Near Leonard, a 47-year-old woman and her 7-year-old daughter were swept away by floodwaters; their bodies were recovered Monday.
A tornado in Spaulding destroyed homes and killed one person, injuring another. At least 10 homes were damaged statewide, and debris remains a hazard.
The storms, part of a violent weather system across the Southern Plains, have subsided, but isolated thunderstorms may bring gusty winds and hail to the Southeast and Ohio Valley.
Emergency crews continue recovery efforts as Oklahoma grapples with the aftermath. (ILKHA)
