In yet another act of aggression, Israeli warplanes launched a series of airstrikes at dawn on Friday, targeting crossings along the Lebanon-Syria border in the Janta area of the eastern mountain range.

The attack, marked by powerful sonic booms, led to the killing of two people and left five others wounded.

The strikes, which blatantly violated Lebanon’s sovereignty, were not limited to Janta. Israeli forces also carried out another assault on a crossing in northern Lebanon, escalating tensions in the region.
