Erdoğan and Al Nahyan hold talks on regional issues in Dubai

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met on Friday in Dubai, where they discussed bilateral relations and regional developments.
The two leaders exchanged views on the situation in Syria, Libya, Yemen, Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as the Iranian nuclear deal and the Palestinian cause, according to a statement from the Turkish Presidency.
They also agreed to enhance cooperation in various fields, including trade, investment, energy, tourism, defense and culture, and to work together to combat terrorism and extremism.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28), which is being held in Dubai from November 27 to December 12.
Erdoğan and Al Nahyan expressed their commitment to support the global efforts to address the climate crisis and to implement the Paris Agreement. (ILKHA)
