HÜDA PAR calls for Islamic military alliance to end Gaza genocide

HÜDA PAR Gaziantep MP Şahzade Demir issued a compelling press statement at Türkiye’s Grand National Assembly, focusing on critical international concerns, with a strong emphasis on the worsening humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza and the continued oppression of Muslims in Kashmir.
Speaking with the moral urgency of a man who views silence as betrayal, Demir warned that the current trajectory of events will only deepen unless Muslims collectively confront the forces of Zionist and imperialist aggression.
“The Genocide in Gaza Is No Longer Deniable”
Addressing the press with a firm and somber tone, Demir began by painting a stark picture of the situation in Gaza. Describing the devastation as “catastrophic,” he said the besieged enclave is now experiencing an all-out collapse of its humanitarian and medical infrastructure.
“The humanitarian crisis in Gaza has now reached an unprecedented, catastrophic level,” Demir said. “The Zionist regime’s continuous air and ground assaults, coupled with its deliberate targeting of hospitals and aid convoys, have brought Gaza to its knees. There is no electricity, no clean water, no medicine, no food. Gaza is no longer a place where life can be sustained. This is not war—it is genocide. It is an engineered expulsion meant to force people to either flee or die. It is ethnic cleansing in broad daylight.”
He condemned the international community’s failure to act, stating that no more excuses can be made. “The world sees this. Everyone sees this. The evidence is clear. And yet, nothing is done. This silence is not neutrality—it is complicity.”
“The Silence of Muslim Governments Is Unforgivable”
Demir saved his sharpest rebuke for the Muslim-majority governments that have remained passive in the face of Israeli aggression. He decried the lack of political courage and unity in the Islamic world, stating that condemnation without action only emboldens the Zionist entity.
“We are not only confronting a regime that murders women and children with impunity,” Demir said, “but also the betrayal of Muslim governments that have chosen silence, or worse, normalization. Their apathy strengthens the hands of the oppressors. Their fear of Western reprisal has silenced their tongues and shackled their will. But let it be known: silence in the face of this brutality is complicity in the crime itself.”
Demir called for the immediate end to all forms of cooperation with the Zionist regime and urged Muslim countries to implement political, economic, and logistical pressure.
Attack on the Freedom Flotilla: “The Banditry Continues”
Referring to the recent attack on the Ship of Conscience, part of the Freedom Flotilla Coalition attempting to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza, Demir noted that history is repeating itself in the absence of accountability.
“The Zionist regime targeted the Freedom Flotilla off the coast of Malta—just like it did with the Mavi Marmara years ago. No lives were lost this time, but the ship suffered serious damage and was forced to return. Once again, Israel has violated international law with impunity, and the world watches silently. This is the result of the failure to hold it accountable the first time.”
He stated that the only language understood by the Zionist regime is the language of deterrent power and that diplomatic efforts alone are insufficient.
“This regime disregards ceasefire agreements, dismisses diplomacy, and mocks international law. It understands only power. Until the Islamic world shows unity and strength, Gaza will continue to suffer.”
Call for a Joint Islamic Military Force
In a bold and historic demand, Demir called upon the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to immediately initiate the formation of a joint Islamic military force tasked with defending the oppressed in Palestine and other Muslim regions under attack.
“The time has come to stop merely issuing statements. We need action. The OIC must form a joint military force to protect the people of Gaza and to break the blockade by land and sea. Whether this happens or not, time will tell—but the need is urgent. There is no other way out. This is a matter of dignity—not just for Palestinians but for the whole of humanity. Let us be clear: this is a struggle for honour.”
He also urged civil societies across the Islamic world to mobilise and put pressure on their governments to act decisively and break the Gaza blockade.
India-Pakistan Tensions and the Persecution of Muslims in Kashmir
Demir also drew attention to the escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, noting that India’s immediate blaming of Pakistan for a recent attack in Kashmir—without evidence—was a dangerous provocation aimed at justifying its own domestic repression.
“What we are seeing in Kashmir is state-led oppression of Muslims. Attacks by Hindu nationalist mobs have increased, mosques are being shut down, properties confiscated, and Muslims are being systematically marginalised. These are not random incidents—they are part of a state-sponsored agenda to intimidate and subjugate the Muslim population.”
He likened the situation in Kashmir to that in Gaza, stating that both reflect the broader reality of Muslim disempowerment in a world dominated by imperialist systems.
“What’s happening in Gaza is the same as what’s happening in Kashmir. The faces may differ, but the oppression is the same. If Muslims had a unified and credible deterrent power, none of these atrocities would have happened.”
“The Ummah Must Rise or Be Crushed”
In closing, Demir made a passionate appeal to the global Muslim Ummah to revive its consciousness and organise politically, militarily, and economically in order to resist global injustice.
“As long as Muslims remain divided, as long as we are disorganised, the oppressors will continue their massacres. What we need now is not more words but real unity. We must build a collective front of resistance against the imperialist powers that enslave our lands and silence our voices. Every individual, every organisation, every leader must ask themselves: what am I doing to defend the Ummah?”
He concluded with a solemn warning and a call to responsibility: “Unless we rise, we will be buried. Unless we unite, we will be humiliated. And unless we act, we will have betrayed not only the people of Gaza and Kashmir—but the very principles of Islam itself.” (ILKHA)
