Flash floods killed 8 people as well as thousands of livestock animals in some provinces of Mongolia on Friday and Saturday, the country's National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) announced on Tuesday.
“Eight people, including two children died due to the flash floods in Umnugovi and Sukhbaatar province on July 3, “ the agency said in a statement.
At least 7,000 livestock animals were killed in three provinces, the agency added.
About 2,360 households were affected from the floods in some provinces. (ILKHA)
