Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman, Nasser Kanaani, took to social media platform X on Thursday to condemn the crackdown on American students by US police for their support of Palestine.
In a Farsi-language post, Kanaani expressed that despite the desires of Israeli regime officials and their supporters, global public opinion has awakened and is determined to halt war crimes in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
He emphasized the intention of the world's public opinion to hold perpetrators of war crimes accountable by bringing them to justice in competent international courts.
Kanaani highlighted the widespread protests among students and professors in American universities against the Zionist regime in his post.
The statement reflects Iran's stance on the issue of Palestinian rights and condemns the use of force against individuals expressing solidarity with Palestine. (ILKHA)
