Gaza Health Ministry: 64,656 Palestinians martyred since October 7, 2023

The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Wednesday morning that at least 41 Palestinians were martyred and 184 others wounded in the past 24 hours as the Israeli occupation forces intensified their relentless aggression across the besieged Strip.
According to the Ministry, two of the martyrs were recovered from beneath the rubble of destroyed homes, underscoring the ongoing Israeli policy of indiscriminate bombardment that leaves families buried under collapsed buildings.
The statement revealed that 12 aid seekers were killed and 30 more wounded in Israeli attacks targeting Palestinians waiting for humanitarian relief. This brings the cumulative toll of aid-related massacres to 2,456 martyrs and more than 17,861 wounded, reflecting Israel’s deliberate starvation campaign against Gaza’s civilian population.
At the same time, Gaza’s hospitals reported five additional deaths from famine and malnutrition in the past 24 hours, including a child. These tragedies raise the overall number of Palestinians killed by starvation to 404, among them 141 children, as Israel continues to block food, medicine, and aid from reaching the Strip.
Since Israel violated the March 18 ceasefire, the Gaza Ministry of Health has documented 12,098 martyrs and 51,462 injuries.
The broader picture of Israel’s genocidal war is even more devastating: since the beginning of the aggression on October 7, 2023, a total of 64,656 Palestinians have been killed and 163,503 wounded. The majority of the victims are women, children, and the elderly, reflecting the indiscriminate and systematic nature of Israel’s assault on Gaza’s civilian population.
Observers and humanitarian organizations continue to denounce Israel’s ongoing bombardment and siege as part of a calculated policy of collective punishment and ethnic cleansing, designed to force displacement and break the will of the Palestinian people.
Despite the mounting death toll and the catastrophic humanitarian crisis, Gaza’s population remains steadfast, affirming their right to life, dignity, and resistance in the face of an occupation determined to erase them. (ILKHA)
